GC is not motivation or pep talks

Before a big game, have you ever told yourself: "Come on, you can do this." "This is your moment." "Just play your best chess." And then sat down at the board — and played worse than usual. Motivation is a spark. It burns bright and fast — and then it's gone, usually right when you need it most. Generative Change doesn't motivate you. It builds something more reliable than motivation — a stable inner state that doesn't depend on how you feel that morning, what your opponent looks like, or what is at stake. Motivation asks you to feel pumped up. GC helps you feel grounded. There is a big difference at the board. ♟️ Have you ever felt pumped up before a game and then underperformed? Tell me below. 👇
